Heroes Will Definitely Be Back

This news is the best any Heroes fan could hope for.

NBC has picked up Heroes for another season. (But really, was there any doubt?)

Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, said:

“… We will be saving and re-launching our #1 drama and most successful franchise, ‘Heroes,’ so that it will run in all original episodes in the fourth quarter.”

A press release issued by NBC says Heroes was “#1 series this season in adults 18-49, the #1 Monday series on any network in adults 18-49 and the #1 scripted series on any network in adults 18-34. This season, “Heroes” has averaged a 6.2 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49 and 13.1 million viewers overall.”

Uh… that means tons of people watched it. Well, we kinda figured that. Still, it’s nice to have the official word.
