Hayden and Milo May Change the Chemistry of Heroes

I love this photo and article from The Sun on the whole Milo and Hayden lovefest.  The caption under it is:

“Young love … Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia”

except that Milo ain’t that young.  Certainly not TEENAGER young.  Any bets on how long this icky thing will last?

I was thinking about this when I heard the writer’s strike had ended.  What will happen with the energy on the set now?  So many people from the cast insisted those two were platonic friends.  Will people resent this romance?  Will it change the chemistry on the set or on screen?

More than that, will people begin to look at Heroes differently now?  Will they watch because it’s a great show or because they want to see a glimpse of Hayden making moon eyes at Milo? 

She’s already done it.  Broke out of character to fawn over Milo.  Remember that scene where she realizes Peter Petrelli saved her life and she just smiles dopily and walks out of the holding cell.  I thought there was something odd about that scene and at the time I couldn’t place it.  But it was a young girl flirting with a guy who obviously had designs on her.  Right on screen.

Icky.  To say the least.  Will this fiasco even last until Heroes airs again?  Time shall tell.
