How do you keep coming up with ideas if you’re Tim Kring? I mean, really, he’s got a lot of writing to do and a lot of original material to create. Well… you could always go back in time and rip off some of your old work.Â
For example, the Bad and Ugly reports that the slogan “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” may have come from the 1985 series Misfits of Science. There’s also a very funny video here from the original show (and you’ll notice some familiar Hollywood faces there). Ironically, Tim Kring is credited with writing on episode of Misfits of Science, so he could have just gone back in his memory to create the cheerleader line.Â
